Meet the Team

We’re proud of the fact that our leadership team is made up of a diverse group of individuals that consider Mary’s part of their family.  Together, we have hundreds of years of restaurant experience, 
much of it spent working to make Mary’s better. 

Vince Albano, Mary’s Grandson and CEO

Vince Albano is the grandson of founder Mary Fazio, so it's safe to say that he's been working
for the company since he was born.  His first official job was picking up the forks that had fallen
under the porch of the original Shack, and he worked his way up through the company, serving 
as COO prior to taking over as CEO in 2010.
 

Bruce Wilson, CFO

Bruce Wilson has spent the last eight years as part of the Mary’s family.  Prior to joining Mary’s
he held various financial and management positions in consumer product and natural product
companies on the East coast and in the Bay area.
 

Vince Dito, Mary’s Grandson-in-law, F&B Director

Vince Dito has been Food and Beverage Director for Mary's since 2000.  Prior to that, he worked
his way up from pizza maker to general manager learning all of the ins and outs of Mary's.
In total, he has been with the company for over 17 years.
 

Bruce Lane, Mary’s Grandson-in-law, IT Director

Bruce Lane has been the IT Director at Mary’s for fourteen years. Over the course of his 23 years
with Mary’s, he also headed the HR and Purchasing departments. Prior to joining the company,
he owned and operated two businesses in Lake Tahoe.  
 

Robin Carlson, Director of Human Resources

Robin Carlson started her career at Mary's creating beautiful salads when she was just a
teenager. She worked her way up through the company to her current position of
Director of Human Resources in 2008. Having grown up with the company helps Robin make
educated decisions on policies/procedures/programs that are developed to help Mary’s
employees and ultimately benefit our guests.
 

Stefanie Bagala, Marketing Director

Stefanie Bagala is a Sonoma County native and started with the Mary's
family back when she was 18 as a hostess at our Santa Rosa East location.
After moving away for college and working in marketing within the wine
industry for 11 years at Jackson Family Wines and then Freixenet USA, she
re-joined the Mary's team as Director of Marketing in 2014. Her
experience in developing multi-faceted programs and campaigns is a huge
asset to Mary's. 
 

Sam Borquez, Director of Operations

Sam has worked for Mary's for over 21 years. He originally started as a
dishwasher and worked his up through the years from Store Manager to
Regional Manager and most recently Sr. Regional Manager. He now
oversees Operations for all 20 stores. 
 

Shanon Thompson, Technical Operations Specialist

Shanon has worked for Mary's for over 26 years.  He started out as a
dishwasher and through the years held management positions at several
locations, was a Regional Manager and most recently Sr. Regional
Manager. Shanon’s technical expertise led him to his current role
overseeing all technical operations for the company.
 
 

Mike Sheppard, Purchasing Manager

Mike Sheppard has been the Purchasing Manager for Mary’s for the past 5 years. One might ask
what position Mikehasn’t had during his 28 years with Mary’s, from dishwasher to regional manager.
Mike started at the age of 16, when there were only 2 Mary’s locations.  Along with the growth of
the company, Mike’s family has grown, he met his wife Stacy at Mary’s and they are now busy with two kids.
 

Mike Sevilla, Safety Manager

Mike holds the honor of being Mary’s longest-term crew member, having worked for Mary in
the original Shack over fortyyears ago. He has personally witnessed the growth of the company,
and today he oversees safety at all of our locations,looking out for the health and safety of all of
our crew members.
